Always shared the opinion that Peru threw their last match against Argentina, who needed to win by at least 4 goals to secure a place in the final at the expense of Brazil on goal difference. After watching this match not so sure anymore as you can clearly see even in this game, that without the exceptional goalkeeping of Quiroga in this game they (Peru) would have lost this match just as heavily as against Argentina a few days later. Peru were a ageing side by 78 clearly with their best years already behind them.
