This was Zico's farewell of Flamengo but not absolute. It's farewell from competitive football was in 1994 and consisted in two matches which one of them was against Flamengo in fact.
Until that moment, this was Zico's farewell to football. No one could have imagined that he would return to playing football, not even him, more than a year later.
